TheFlyingCarpet is back after the summer.
We start the flight from Martinique with Roland Brival and his track “Créole Gypsy”, from the homonimous 1980's LP, and we follow with the John Cameron Quartet's “Troublemaker”. We stay in London with caribbean influences, with our fetiche group Cymande, and his first single “The Message”. Next stop Africa: we start from South Africa, with the group Batsumi playing the track Lishonile and we follow with Tony Allen and Afrobeat 2000 and his 1985's track N.E.P.A. (mr. Allen will be on the carpet in the next future!)
Some poetry and soul vibes with Anthony Joseph & The Spasm Band and “His Hands”, and some funk with Ramsey Lewis' track “Fish Bite” and with Cameo playing “The Sound Table”.
For the landing, a track of Phavia Kujichagulia, called “Overdose”.
Board on the carpet and enjoy the trip. To the next week, stay tuned.
