TheFlyingCarpet start a new trip, with less words and much more music. It's a kind of anti-laziness program, so this week you're obliged to search informations for the artists, if you're interested in.
We start the flight with Quantic and His Combo Barbaro and the track "The Dreaming Mind (part 1)" from the new LP Tradition in Transition, just edited by Tru Thoughts. We follow with The Nite-Liters and his version of "Eleanor Rigby", from 1970 RCA-Victor's homonimous LP, and Anthony Joseph & the Spasm Band, with "River of Masks", from Bird Head Son LP. Next stop: The Invaders playing "It's Your Thing pt. 2", from his Spacing Out LP of 1970. Next ones: Clarence Reid's "Masterpiece" in a Kenny Dope edit, followed by Lafayette Afro Rock Band playing "Sikiliza".
After that, we find mr. Harry Mosco, from The Funkees, with “I Feel Funky", and the group Mombasa with the instrumental song "Masai", from 1975's album African Rhythm & Blues. More music: Lee Fields & The Expression, with “Love Comes and Goes“, from the LP My Worlds, edited some weeks ago by Truth & Sou, and Leeds' combo The New Mastersounds playing “Kuna Matata“, from 2008's Plug & Play LP. For the landing, enjoy with the Motivators and their anthem "Jobu".
Have a nice trip and stay tuned. Big surpises for the next weeks.
