TheFlyingCarpet start this week's trip with Tony Allen and his track "Ayenlo" from the new album Secret Agent. After that, we move to West Africa in the 50's/60's to find E.T. Mensah & the Tempos, playing "Agriculture" and "Sunday Mirror". Then, we move to France, to start discovering the group Malinga 5 and his LP Rock Africa, edited in 1976; this week we will listen the track "Good Time".
Then we stop to take on board Jordi Herreruela, director of the Festival Cruilla de Cultures, of Mataró, Barcelona, that will chat with us about the event. We will have also an advance of the next week concert of Hugh Masekela, with "The Boys Doin' it" in a remix version of Detroit's producer Carl Craig. We stay in US with two songs of Sarah Webster Fabio: “Sweet Song“ and “Jujus/Alchemy of the blues" from the 76's homonimous LP. Finally, for the landing, mr. Salah Ragab and the Cairo Jazz Band presents "Neveen".
