TheFlyingCarpet start this week with Les Frères Smith and his song “La marche des Smiths", from his first 7", and after we go directly to the center of the dancefloor, where Konono N.1 is playing live taking the assistance to a state of trance. Then, we stay on the dancefloor with our guest, Nox dj, cofounder of Loud Futureground. Some disco tracks, à parfum of funk, a touch of jazz, just a dose of boogie and some old school house vibes: the discoball is turning and the carpet's crew is moving. We will listen The Blackbirds, wtih "Future Children, Future Hopes", The Central Line's track "Walking in the Sunshine" and Herbie Hancock, in full disco period, with "You Bet Your Love" . Second run: we enter in Cerrone's paradise, with the track "Take Me", followed by D'Train's "Your the One for Me" and Blaze "We All Must Live Together".
For the landing, we will listen Odissey and his version of the Lamont Dozier's classic "Going Back To My Roots".
