TheFlyingCarpet is available. Sorry for the delay. This week, the voice is the captain and we're off to Zambia first, with Chrissy Zebby Tembo & Nogozi Family and the track Trouble Maker, followed by Tamedun with the track Tamedun don come from the Nu Afrobeat Experience album (Nigerian bands). Then, we stay in Nigeria to hear Ayetoro and their track Revenge of the flying monkeys from the same album. The next stop is in the States with Antibalas and the track Big Man taken from the album Who is this America? We then chill out with Cymande's Willie's headache and go straight to Senegal to listen to the Orchestra Baobab and the track Kelen Ati Leen from A Night at club Baobab. After that we meet Plunky again (see FC 14 for the interview) with Don't give up. I then go on about pulp fiction (comics) to introduce a series of compilations called Pulp Fusion - we listen to the track Like a thief in the night by Michael Longo. And then the carpet flies to Lebanon to listen to the great Rabih Abou Khalil and the track Tsarka from the Blue Camel album. The landing is quite psychedelic with Stereoscope Jerk Explosion's Bengali Corporation from the album La panthere pop (edited by Cosmic Groove). The captain for the day and her sexy pilot hope you'll enjoy the trip! See you next week with the real captain back on board!
