TheFlyingCarpet is back after a week of holiday. Off course, holiday with the carpet, but offline. That's holiday.
We start our journey from Argentina, with the pianist Fernando Gelbard and the wonderful "Alevacolariea". Second stop Harlem end of the 60's, where The Har-You Percussion Group play "Feed Me Good".
Next stop in Europe, with Fanga & the drum master mr.Tony Allen with "Crache la Douleur", track recompiled in the outcoming compilation "Republica afrobeat 3". Africa is calling, so we go to Nairobi, Kenya, to listen
Matata's "Return to You". Short trip to Nigeria, where we continue to discover the last LP of Femi Kuti, with " Eh Oh" and " One two". The next song is form nigeria, but from the 70's: the rock group Ofege play "Wizzie Llabo". Back to the US, listening two songs from a classic funk guitar player, Dennis Coffey. We start from "Scorpio" and we continue with "Big City Funk". We stay in the US, and we stay in the 70's: the drummer Bohannon present "Run it on down mr. DJ" from the Lp Stop & Go. For landing, enjoy the IG Culture's track "Be free".
Have a nice flight.
