TheFlyingCarpet is ready for a new trip. Et il parait que c'est le printemps.
We start our excursion with IG Culture's "Revelation", from the new LP Zen Badism, and with Parliament (Funkadelic) and the track "P Funk (wants to get funked up)", from Mothership Connection.
Next stop, Herman Kelly & Life are searching "Who’s the funky DJ?" (and we to), and Meshell Ndegeocello celebrate the Funk Brothers with the classic motown song "Cloud Nine". We meet The Souljazz Orchestra, playing "Interested Benevolence", from the LP Manifesto, and Jimi Tenor & Kabu Kabu, with "triple helix".
Last stop with Karl Hector & The Malcouns, with the track "Nyx", from Sahara Swing LP, and Kokolo, with "Everybody (Tryin' to Get Buy)" from More Consideration, a little appetizer waiting the live show.
Finally, the landing is very sweet with the voice of Lorez Alexandria, asking for "Send In The Clowns".
The flight is over and we are happy to wait the next one staying with the clowns (the world is full of fake clowns, take care, vote for the real ones!).
