TheFlyingCarpet is boarding for a new excursions!
The pragramemd route for this week: we start with an obscure Harlem Underground Band's song, "Smoking Cheeba Cheba", from the 76's LP Harlem Underground. We follow with Malone & Barnes and Spontaneous Simplicity and they track "Journey to the Stars". We follow with Gil Scott Heron & Brian Jackson, with a long and vibrant live version of The Bottle/Guan Guanco. From US to Finland, were Jimi Tenor accompanied by Kabu Kabu ply "I Wanna Hook Up With You", from the 2007's LP Joystone. We move then to Milano, 1974, where two brasilians, Ezy & Isaac play "Bawagbe", from the 1974 Ri-fi's LP Soul Rock. A little stop in Nigeria, with Tony Allen & the Africa 70 with a '76 track "Progress" from the Progress LP (reedited now by Vampisoul with the other 3 fist Tony Allen 70's LP. And dinally, "Over & Over", the Charles Earland song from the Perception LP.
